Conditions of Entry:

Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions. PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV Rules may be left uninsured.

  1. Fees are on a per mount basis and include a $1 zone levy.
  2. Open Riders
    1. Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form
    2. $10 Day Attendance Fee is due UNLESS you are a financial member* of EV/EA; AHS; SHCA; AERA; an Interstate Pony Club; or can prove personal Liability Cover of at least $10,000,000. *Must produce proof.
    3. Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. (Not personal Medical) and complete the Day Participant Waiver.
    4. PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office.
  3. No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10 will be deducted.
  4. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
  5. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.
  6. Competitors may ride more than one horse, subject to the

conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple horse rules.

  1. Complying helmets must worn, spot checks may occur.
  2. Gear Check: required for all riders before each phase.
  3. Medical Armbands: must be worn by all competitors.
  4. Horses must be at least age four, no stallions, colts or rigs.
  5. Competitor numbers - the organising committee will pre-allocate and advise numbers.

Competitors must supply their own back number holder, bridle or saddle cloth numbers.

  1. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
  2. Dogs are prohibited without exception.
  3. Queries, protests, horse abuse, rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws.
  4. Lunging is not permitted.

 

None of Wyena Horse and Pony Club, Inc, the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accept any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

Attention Riders

Any pony club member who does not present an accurate PCAV club member card or lodge a fully completed verification form that proves the PCAV eligibility requirements will be disqualified.

PCAV Club Member Cards - It is your responsibility to ensure that your PCAV club member card is accurate and presented to the organising committee on the day. Note that D.C’s may not alter or correct grading at the competition. If you are not sure on how a PCAV club member card must be completed, please read the Club Member Cards Guidelines in the ‘publications, rules and regulations’ section of the PCAV web site www.ponyclubvic.org.au

Helmets – all riders must have correct standards numbers'. In accordance with PCAV Gear Rules, spot checks may be conducted at the competition. An incorrect helmet will result in disqualification from the entire competition.

Medical Armbands - all riders, including non-PCAV members are required to wear medical armbands whilst mounted. Please ensure your name and an emergency contact and phone number are correctly completed on the card; but please note that the colour of the card is irrelevant - it is the information on it that must be legible and up to date.

Other rules - apply as per the PCAV Handbook of By-laws and PCAV specific competition rules. Please make sure you read your rules before querying any decisions. Rules can be found in the “publications, rules and regulations” section of the PCAV web site www.ponyclubvic.org.au or from the PCAV state office.
